Coward-McCann

Founded in 1927, Coward-McCann's operations were combined with G.P. Putnam's in 1936 but remained mostly autonomous as a publishing entity (see Coward-McCann and Putnam's Form Cooperative Connection, PW, Feb. 1, 1936, at 608).
