Biography

Franz Leopold Schick (1918-1992).

Born Franz Leopold Schick in Vienna, Feb. 4, 1918. Married Renee Schick on Aug. 9, 1938, in Paris. Arrived in the U.S. on Dec. 22, 1938, in New York, from Cherbourg, France. According to Oct. 16, 1940, draft registration, worked at a dental laboratory in Detroit. Entered the U.S. Army on May 4, 1943, and petitioned for naturalization in Miami on July 9, 1943. Discharged from the Army on Dec. 8, 1945.
